The sole owner of GAAST, Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman Trading, has founded the company in Dubai in 1992.

Dr. Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman is member of a reputed and well established Saudi Arabian Trading family.The grandfather of Dr. Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman was the first appointed Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and close advisor to H.H. King Abdul Aziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period of the country’s establishment. He was responsible for all finances, the economic developments and related decisions during the implementation of Saudi Arabia. The members of his family followed his footsteps to the present. The members of the Al Sulaiman family are involved in different fields of industry, trade and real estate enterprises. Additionally, Dr. Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman is the 100% owner of various further companies (sole owner of IKEA – Saudi Arabia).
